HOSPITALITY | BRAND ARCHITECTURE | SERVICE ECOSYSTEM
Executive Snapshot
Equipment Cafe, Equiserve and Sparesco were developed as a connected but clearly separated hospitality support ecosystem. Equipment Cafe supplies commercial coffee equipment. Equiserve repairs and maintains hospitality equipment. Sparesco supplies the parts needed to keep it operating.
Together, the three brands support different stages of the same customer relationship.
The Strategic Challenge
Hospitality customers move between equipment sales, maintenance and spare parts throughout the equipment lifecycle. Three separate brands could create confusion, duplicated communication and missed referrals. Combining everything under one identity could weaken the specialist role of each business.
How could three distinct brands work as one customer system without losing their individual relevance?
My Role
As Brand Strategist and Creative Director, I led the architecture, positioning, customer segmentation and creative direction. The work connected buyer journeys, service propositions, identity systems, digital structure, customer applications and brand governance.
The Strategic Response
The architecture assigned each brand a clear commercial role.
Equipment Cafe focused on equipment selection and supply. Equiserve represented technical support, repairs and maintenance. Sparesco provided replacement parts and supported equipment continuity.
The brands remained separate because customers could enter through different needs. A buyer might begin with a new purchase, an urgent repair or a specific part. Each brand needed enough specialist authority to stand alone.
The shared system connected these entry points through clear referrals, common service principles and consistent communication. Customer journeys were mapped from research and procurement through installation, maintenance, repair, parts replacement and future equipment decisions.
Digital navigation and messaging clarified which business to approach and how the companies related. Visual discipline created connection without making the brands interchangeable. Governance rules supported consistent handovers, cross-brand communication and future growth.
Business and Brand Value
The system made the portfolio easier to understand while protecting each specialist offer. It created clearer paths between sales, service and parts, supporting referrals, customer continuity and long-term account value.
It also reduced the risk of three businesses communicating as isolated companies when their commercial strength came from working together.
